The location in the Champagne area was pleasant and unbeatable. I liked the updated rooms with free WiFi and air conditioning. the staff was very good, and having a shower, a hair dryer, and bathrobes in the room was very handy.

Hotel was located in the middle of Vertus Village and it was easy to find. Neighbourhood was calm and quiet. The restaurant near the hotel served excellent food!

plenty of restaurants to eat close by, like le thibault iv that was only 5 minutes' walk away. fabulous base for a city trip in vertus! the pool was a bonus for relaxing.

The room I booked was great-sized and provided with air conditioning, free WiFi, as for instance. The location was lovely, for example, Porte Baudet was at a moderate distance from the hotel.

Wi-Fi was pretty slow, made me a little nervous.

The small pool was great for a quick relaxing dip after a days motoring, but the special feature of the place is its location in a small village in the heart of the Champagne wine region. I think I counted signs to about 30 champagne houses around the roads exiting the village square. The hotel restaurant produced excellent food and good wines.

The rooms are modern and spacious, equipped with air conditioning and free WiFi. the breakfast offers a wide selection of delicious food. - the staff is friendly, welcoming, and pays attention to detail.

No staff spoke English, no staff on reception. Bar never open. No facilities, swimming pool locked. Sauna €15 for 30 mins! Poor location. Nothing to recommend this place at all. There is nowhere to sit other than in your room. We booked a superior double room and it was the mos6t basic room I have ever seen. Mini bar empty and turned off, no air conditioning, poor bedding, no toiletries no comfort. How on earth could this be a supoerior room? We booked for three nights, checked out after the first night. Appalling!

Friendly staff who were helpful and attentive to our needs. Convenient location in the heart of the town, close to restaurants and attractions

The air conditioning and fridge in our room did not work properly, which was disappointing. Lack of a lift made carrying our luggage upstairs difficult, and the staff did not offer any assistance.

For a premier room I did not like plastic sheeting on the saggy bed, no shower curtain, very feeble WiFi, room refrigerator not plugged in and I was told to plug it in (a very awkward job) when I complained

i booked a triple room with an air conditioning, an iron/ironing board and a work desk.

Close enough to Laon for a quick drive, just about an hour away! 🚗.

Very good price-quality level in the hotel. Service was straight forward. We had very nice view to large wineyards from the 3rd floor room. Vertus is a nice little village!

Breakfast not included (we knew that) but not a problem because you can find a couple of "patisseries" quite near in the village.

The lack of parking - and having to leave my car on a public car park some 200 or 300 yards away. Fortunately we were able to park the next morning outside the hotel on a public parking place
